Keith Goddard
Keith Goddard, CFA
Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer

Keith is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Capital Advisors, where he has served nonprofit institutions and high net worth families since joining the firm in 1991. He holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder and earned the CFA charter in 1995.

In addition to his engagement with nonprofit institutions through Capital Advisors, Keith has served the sector directly for more than 30 years as a board member or trustee for numerous organizations in the Tulsa community, including the University of Tulsa, Holland Hall School, Tulsa Zoo, Salvation Army, and The Frontier.

Keith’s combination of investment knowledge and boardroom experience gives him a firsthand understanding of the fiduciary challenges and strategic goals that nonprofit boards face when stewarding endowment assets.

Steven Soranno
Steven Soranno, CFA, CAIA
Director Of Equity Research
Steve joined Capital Advisors in 2017 and brings over 30 years of investment management experience, including senior roles at Credit Suisse Global Private Banking & Asset Management, Calvert Investment Management, and Ameriprise. He began his career on Wall Street, contributing to a top-ranked strategy team before becoming a lead sell-side analyst at Oppenheimer. At Credit Suisse, Steve led U.S. Technology sector investments and co-directed Americas equities research, shaping insights that influenced billions in client capital. At Calvert, he directed the firm’s fundamental equity process and advanced the integration of material ESG information into company valuations. At Ameriprise, as Director of Equity Research, he launched asset-allocated models that attracted over $1 billion in AUM within their first year. Steve holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder pursuing a PhD in business strategy and innovation. Alongside his professional career, he teaches graduate finance and business strategy as an adjunct, bridging cutting-edge theory and practice. Beyond his professional and academic work, Steve serves on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma and on the investment committees of Catholic Charities, the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma, and the Parish of Christ the King.

Sean Hennessee
Sean Hennessee, JD
Senior Vice President, General Counsel

Sean focuses on estate planning within our financial planning team. He is a Tulsa native who attended the University of Tulsa where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in Taxation and a Juris Doctor. After graduating from law school in 2006, Sean practiced law in the areas of tax and business planning in Fort Worth, Texas. Sean joined Johnson & Jones in February 2015. He has been a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma since September of 2011 and in the State of Texas since May of 2007.

His areas of emphasis focus on estate planning, tax and business planning for closely-held businesses and individuals, choice of business entity, entity formation and dissolution, multi-entity planning, management and ownership structures, business transactions, and the federal and state tax consequences related to such items. Sean has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa teaching the “Elder Law and Estate Planning” class and also teaching in the Collins School of Business.

Courtney Rueb
Courtney Rueb, CPA
Financial Planner

Courtney is based in the Tulsa headquarters and is a member of the financial planning group at Capital Advisors. Her background broadens the depth of advisory resources made available through of our Financial Planning team.

Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Courtney served as a Tax Manager at a local public accounting firm, where she supervised tax planning and the preparation of returns for over 200 clients. Although she possesses expertise in both individual and business tax, her specialization lies in individual and fiduciary taxes.

Courtney, a Certified Public Accountant, has over a decade of experience in public accounting. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the board of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Courtney is actively involved in her daughter's school where she serves on several committees and enjoys volunteering. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling with her family, with Disney World being a favorite destination.

Kelcy Flores
Kelcy Flores, CFP®, CPWA®
Managing Partner
Kelcy is a Managing Partner and leads the Financial Planning group at Capital Advisors. She is located in the Tulsa headquarters. Kelcy has been with Capital Advisors since 2018 and manages a team of CFP® professionals, CPA, and estate planning attorneys. The planning team prides itself on a comprehensive approach to financial planning and navigating clients through life’s many phases. Kelcy works closely with our High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Clients. She holds her CFP® designation and is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor®. Kelcy holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Tulsa. She was a member of the Irish varsity tennis team, achieving two-time All-America selection honors and earning induction into the Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014. Before joining Capital Advisors, Kelcy worked within the Private Wealth Group at BOK Financial and served as an Assistant Coach at both the University of Notre Dame and the University of Tulsa. Currently, Kelcy is participating in the Schwab Executive Leadership Program. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Street School and contributing her time and expertise to support its mission.
Scott Frantz
Scott Franz, CFA
Director of Asset Allocation

Scott is located in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and focuses on portfolio management, relationship management, and business development. Scott joined the firm in 2017 from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he worked as a management consultant covering the asset and wealth management industries, in addition to other sectors within Financial Services. Prior to PwC, he worked in various roles in Merrill Lynch’s Wealth Management group, including portfolio strategy, finance, and performance management, among others. Scott also spent time as a client associate at UBS Wealth Management.

Scott holds an MBA from Georgetown University, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is also a CFA Charterholder, and was awarded the charter in 2008.

Mitch Kaczmarek, CFA

Director Of Fixed Income Research

Mitch joined the firm in 2016 and has over 20 years of investment management industry experience. Prior to joining Capital Advisors, Mitch served as the Director of Fixed Income for a $5+ billion multi-family office in Dallas, TX, where he managed high net worth individuals’ bond portfolios along with implementing the firm’s strategic fixed income product offerings. Mitch spent the first ten years of his career at Sterling Capital Management in Charlotte, NC, the $50+ billion investment management division of BB&T Corp, as a fixed income portfolio manager overseeing institutional clients’ taxable and municipal bond portfolios.

Mitch earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mitch is married and has two sons and a daughter.
