Steve joined Capital Advisors in 2017 and brings over 30 years of investment management experience, including senior roles at Credit Suisse Global Private Banking & Asset Management, Calvert Investment Management, and Ameriprise. He began his career on Wall Street, contributing to a top-ranked strategy team before becoming a lead sell-side analyst at Oppenheimer.

At Credit Suisse, Steve led U.S. Technology sector investments and co-directed Americas equities research, shaping insights that influenced billions in client capital. At Calvert, he directed the firm’s fundamental equity process and advanced the integration of material ESG information into company valuations. At Ameriprise, as Director of Equity Research, he launched asset-allocated models that attracted over $1 billion in AUM within their first year.

Steve holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder pursuing a PhD in business strategy and innovation. Alongside his professional career, he teaches graduate finance and business strategy as an adjunct, bridging cutting-edge theory and practice.

Beyond his professional and academic work, Steve serves on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma and on the investment committees of Catholic Charities, the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma, and the Parish of Christ the King.
